361 people benefited from the mobile service camp
BAGLUNG: A total of 361 people benefited from the mobile service camp organized by Baglung Municipality in Bhakunde district.
People got services, such as free health checkups and distribution of medicine, financial literacy, ID cards for the disabled, project contracts and soil tests from the mobile service camp.
Baglung-10 Ward Chairman Til Bahadur Thapa informed that contracts for 16 projects were signed during the competition.
All the projects contracted during the camp have opened their bank accounts. Likewise, no less than 151 people benefited from a free health check-up and treatment.
Among them, 67 women had their uterus tested and treated. A total of 104 people were tested for diabetes.
Most people have had a checkup, especially on high blood pressure and orthopedics.
Even the number of women receiving gynecological services was significant, according to the municipality’s public health inspector, Ram Prasad Khanal.
In addition, 30 people whose news received ID cards as people with disabilities.
Among them, 15 disabled are classified as ‘A’, 10 ‘B’ and 5 ‘C’ on their identity cards.
Agricultural technicians from the camp reached farmers’ fields and tested the soil.
The soils of 15 spots covering 40 ropanis of land were tested on occasion.
Head of the municipal agriculture section, Rahul KC, informed that most places have acid soils.
Orientation sessions on financial literacy were offered to forty-five people.
Even the 15 members of child-friendly local governance neighborhood committees were trained to respond to the indicators before announcing the child-friendly municipality.
