Plusnet mobile phone customers reported being unable to make or receive phone calls around 11am this morning.
They were able to text and use mobile data, the company said.
The issues have since been resolved and customers should be able to place calls as normal.
A Plusnet user said this morning, “I can’t make or receive mobile calls. I just get ‘Failed – Retry?’ and a few beeps when I try to call.

“And the same when someone tries to call me. Is there a problem ?
Another added: “Same for me in London too – trying to make calls from another phone to the Plusnet number gives an invalid number error.”
“Many Plusnet mobile customers have complained in the last hour that they have lost the ability to call/receive,” one customer said.
Some customers said their mobile data and text messages were working despite the signal issues.
Most of the complaints were in major cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Glasgow.
A Plusnet spokesperson said: “Some customers were experiencing issues when trying to place calls on the Plusnet network.
“Customers can make calls again and service was restored within an hour.
“Data and SMS services were not affected. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

Plusnet is one of the networks that did not raise roaming charges for travelers this summer, but other companies did.
However, its prices have increased for some customers.
