Videotron offers newcomers from Ukraine six months of free mobile service
MONTREAL, May 5, 2022 /CNW/ – Videotron reaffirms its support for the Ukrainian community with a gesture of welcome to Ukrainian citizens temporarily displaced during their first months in Canada. From May 9, newcomers from Ukraine will be offered a free 20GB all-inclusive plan for six months to help them stay in touch with family and loved ones. Videotron is also donating 1,000 refurbished mobile devices to the Congress of Ukrainian Canadians and its partners, to be given to Ukrainian families in need.
To take advantage of the offer, newcomers need only bring their mobile phone to one of the eight participants. Videotron stores and present an identity document – a passport, a Ukrainian identity card or a temporary residence permit – and proof of entry to Canadasuch as a work or study permit, a travel visa or a temporary residence permit.
